Look Outside: Let's Get Dressed for Winter

Student Instructions

Let's practice getting dressed for ❄ weather. 👆🏼 the ⭐to listen to the directions. 👆🏼 the 🟢 add button to begin. 1. 👀 at the pictures of the clothing in the ⬜. Which one do you put on 1st when you are getting dressed for ❄ weather? Use the move tool to move the pictures to the ⚪ to show the order of how you get dressed. 2. Next, in the other ⬜ use the drawing to ✏ a picture of yourself wearing winter clothes. 3. 👆🏼the 🟢 check when you are ready to turn it in.

⭐Summary: Students will show the sequence of getting dressed for winter weather and draw a picture of themselves in winter clothing. 🔑 Key Vocabulary: first, last, pants/leggings, long-sleeve shirt, socks, winter coat, snow pants, snow boots, hat, scarf and mittens ⭐This is a supplemental activity that can be used in conjunction with your district curriculum. ⭐This activity is best used whole group on an interactive board where students come up and manipulate the objects in the activity or on individual devices in focused small groups (especially for any voice or screen recording/video activities). 🛑 Always preview videos/links to be sure they fit your audience/needs.
