Letter Sound Assessment

Standards: Students will produce some sounds represented by letters. (PK.2.PWS.3.)

Student Instructions

Individual Assessment The teacher will ask the student to say the letter sounds on each page.

Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

Teacher Instructions The teacher brings each student to the desk and individually assesses their ability to identify letter sounds. For each picture, the teacher asks the student to produce the letter sound for each letter. The teacher then moves the YES or NO choice into the answer box to record the student’s response.
