Unit 4 Week 4: R-Controlled -eer, -ear, & -ere Patterns -- Scratch and Reveal Spelling (Wonders Grade 2)

Standards: Read grade-level high-frequency sight words and words with inconsistent but common spelling-sound correspondences. (CC.1.1.2.D.3.), Spell words drawing on common spelling patterns. (CC.1.4.2.L.3.)

Student Instructions

1) Tap the green add to get started. 2) Look at the spelling word at the top of each slide. voice Listen to the word used in a sentence. 3) Now, use the eraser tool to erase (write) each spelling word. 4) Make sure another person can easily read your erasing (handwriting). 5) Remember to 👀 read over your words and make sure they are spelled correctly, 6) Tap check to submit.
